I've been holding off on doing a Boiler Room for a while and wanted the first set to be something special.
When I got the opportunity to do the stream from Paraguay, I jumped at it... and I have to admit that a traditional dish called Pira Caldo was part of the reason. It's a rich, delicious fish soup that I had during my last South American tour and have been craving ever since.
This recipe doesn't quite do it justice but it's worth a try. I learned today that urban legend says Pira Caldo is an aphrodisiac but you can decide that for yourself.
